Seeing as the child will be a Half-dragon, how said child would be born depends on what the mother is (species wise). Since Rarity is a mammal, it would indeed be live birth. As for what the little half-dragon would look like... you've got me there since genetics can be very fickle and/or unpredictable in regards to mix breeds/hybrids, but it is safe to bet that their child would have strongly defined draconic physical features.

Yes, like clawed feet instead of hooves, and possibly scaly skin depending on how many traits are from the dragon side of the family are passed on.
